Meyer and Brax Trousers/ Chinos/
Shorts
At Digby’s Menswear all our trousers, chinos and shorts are sized in inches
around waist. If you have bought from us before you will notice that the label
on your Meyer or Brax garment has a European size on it, for example Gr: 54
which is 38 inches. Please see the table below to understand the numbers.
32 inch = European size 48
34 inch = European size 50
36 inch = European size 52
38 inch = European size 54
40 inch = European size 56
42 inch = European size 58
44 inch = European size 60
46 inch = European size 30
48 inch = European size 31
50 inch = European size 32
52 inch = European size 33
54 inch = European size 34
56 inch = European size 35
Shirts
Most of our long and short sleeved shirts are a Modern fit. The shirt is
slightly smaller around the waist to give it shape. Sometimes this is achieved
with the cutting of the fabric and sometimes there are darts in the back
of the shirt. The brands we have in modern fit are Brax, Haupt, R2 Amsterdam,
Bugatti, Olymp and Seidensticker. The Seidensticker business shirts also come in
a Slim cut..
If you are quite a bit bigger through the waist area then you will need a shirt
cut straight down each side to give more room around the middle. These shirts
are listed as being a Comfort fit by Brax and Seidensticker or a Regular fit by Haupt.
