Designed by the sailor Christophe Auguin, winner of multiple solo races such as the Vendée Globe in 1997, Auguin boat shoes are comfortable, robust and resistant. Since the introduction of the footwear collection in 2000, those who wear Auguin describe them as “a soft slipper” that is difficult to take off. Manufactured in France thanks to a technique exclusive to Cléon, Auguin shoes maintain a commitment to innovation and comfort. The nubuck leather is cemented and stitched to the "Comfort" rubber sole. This sole is at the centre of every pair of Christophe Auguin shoes and gives unparalled comfort thanks to its integrated arch shape, its grip, and its exceptional cushioning thanks to microcellular foam that absorbs shocks. For better shoe life we recommend regular maintenance of your shoes - spot clean and brushing with a nubuck brush.
